What: Houston Methodist Peak Performances.

Where: The Aspen Golf Club in Aspen, Colorado.

Who: Hosts Cam and Rod Canion, Nancy and Jack Dinerstein, and Lesha and Tom Eisenbrook; Houston Methodist physicians including dermatologist Emily M. Mintz and orthopedic surgeon Bradley Weiner, along with president and CEO Marc L. Boom, who gave impassioned remarks regarding the most recent advances in research, education, and patient care; Leslie and Jack Blanton, Kathy and John Orton, Kathy and Marty Goossen, Susan and Dick Hansen, Patti Morgan, Veronica Selinko-Curran and Mike Curran, and Sarah Jane and Ross Canion.

PC Moment: Escaping the confines of Houston humidity, 100-plus close Houston Methodist supporters ascended to Aspen for a relaxed, exclusive day of events dubbed Peak Performances, consisting of 18 holes at the Grand Rounds Golf Open, home tours of New Heights, and a suppertime reception. Following the reception, a raffle with prizes that included a his and hers package from Tenenbaum Classic Jewelers, dinner for 12 at the home of doctor duo Julie and Marc Boom, and a prize pack for four at the Aspen Golf Club provided ample fund-raising for Methodist’s continuing research and growth into one of the country’s most prestigious hospitals.
