Madison McKinley, Dallas Entrepreneur and Tennis Star John Isner’s Wife, Enjoys an Out of This World Baby Shower

What happens when a noteworthy party host and a stylish athlete’s wife get together? An out of this world baby shower. Highland Park’s own Madison McKinley Isner, the wife of tennis pro John Isner, enjoyed the baby shower of all baby showers at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in uptown Dallas.

The couple is due to welcome their first child, a baby girl, in late September. The shower took place with Isner in New York, gearing up for the U.S. Open, where tennis’ Marathon Man won another epic five-set match Wednesday night to advance to the third round. Isner is the highest-rated American player in the U.S. Open men’s draw, the 11th seed overall and a proud dad to be seeking his first career Grand Slam title.

What a baby welcoming present that would be. Of course, the shower’s already set a high bar.

The incredibly lavish baby shower in honor of the darling mother to be was hosted by her godmother Nancy Rogers, wife of former Mary Kay CEO Richard Rogers. Rogers and his mother Mary Kay Ash founded the company in 1963.

Nancy Rogers can be spotted at Dallas’ most fabulous philanthropic events and even jet setting with Kris Jenner. It seems just in her wheelhouse to throw a baby shower that raises all expectations. After all, Richards made Salonnieres’ list of America’s Top 100 Party Hosts.

She gives fairy godmother a whole new meaning.

Rogers enlisted the help of event planner extraordinaire, Todd Fiscus of Todd Events, known for creating some of the most over the top celebrations around the state. In a large tent covered in flowers, Dallas darlings mingled around a flower petal filled water fountain.

The flower arrangements were taken to a new level with arrangements in the shape of teddy bears and chandeliers draped in floral decor. Paper lanterns in a precious pink and yellow color scheme covered the walls and a photo booth with oversized stuffed animals added a festive touch.

As customary with a Rogers and Fiscus, every single detail was planned out and elaborately stunning. The DJ played songs centered around girls, babies, pink and other baby girl themes until late in the afternoon.

Guests noshed on decadent grilled cheese sandwiches and housemade potato chips from master chef Dean Fearing and mini ice cream sandwiches — and other sweet confections were passed around. Each guest took home a personal flower bouquet upon departure.

Besides being busy watching the best year of her husband’s career and preparing for motherhood, Madison, who graduated from Highland Park High School and went on to study at Parsons in New York, is the creative director of her own successful jewelry line, Madison McKinley.

Isner and McKinley tied the knot in December 2017 in an equally as lavish wedding in South Carolina and have hit the ground running with a first year of marriage filled with high profile tennis matches and posh Dallas events. Baby Girl Isner is sure being welcomed into this world with style and open arms.
