PC Moment: More than 1,000 people attended Karya Kares’s Inaugural gala and raised $100,000 for the foundation. With deep roots within the Houston and American Indian community, Karya Kares is proactive in enriching the lives of the less fortunate through education, raising awareness and meeting immediate needs.
Swapnil Agarwal and Vivek Shah chaired the evening that honored six war veterans from different branches of the military and the Lone Star Veterans Association. Guests enjoyed a music filled night with a live band and endless dancing. Deepika Agarwal and Mohammed Nazimuddin served as co-chairs.
Karya Kares Foundation’s mission is to help enrich lives of those less fortunate. Through free water education classes for youth at various apartment complexes or handing our more than 5,000 clear backpacks to children to raise awareness for school safety, Karya Kares is a inovlved locally as well as in Inida.
