What: Hanh Gallery’s Retail Therapy Debut.
Where: Hanh Gallery.
Who: Houston-born and bred gallerist/artist/accessory designer/teacher Hanh Tran; Houston Dynamo stars Kofi Sarkodie and Michael Lisch; author Melissa Williams; violinist Kelsey Maxwell; local design denizens Ilse Rew, Rita Garcia, Rashi Vatts, Darian Ward, Nina K, Cindy and Richard Bertrand, Al Parrish, and Lou Davis.
PC Moment: Marking the expansion of the Hanh Gallery into a 970-square foot “Art and Retail Therapy” space, friends, well-wishers, Dynamo players, and TV fixtures gathered to celebrate Tran’s newest venture. Tran’s acclaimed gallery will now house all of her self-described “wearable art” pieces like handbags, bracelets, and housewares, in addition to her painting parties, painting therapy classes, and gallery space. Champagne from Ousie’s Table, light bites courtesy Del Frisco’s, a “huge Hanh cake” inspired by one of Hanh’s designs from Edible Moments and cocktails from Deep Eddie Vodka fueled the stylish art + retail + chic party, as Momentum Porsche parked a spread of chic wheels outside.
