New Art House Opens in Uptown, Providing a Sanctuary From the Everyday

PC Moment: Housed in a cozy yet light-filled townhouse, artist Laura Roosevelt‘s new gallery, LR Art House, is a tranquil sanctuary we’d like to escape to any day of the week.
The great-grandaughter of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt fêted the debut of her showroom with a gathering of family, friends, and well-heeled art patrons who browsed each room featuring her own paintings and sculptures.
Laura is a self-proclaimed pioneer of the “Historic American Pop” style, which blends abstract layers and various paint textures with iconic photographs. In future exhibits, LR Art House will also showcase additional artists’ work.
