Bottoms up! At the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, guests bedecked in mid-century and Brazilian attire imbibed Deep Eddy Vodka lemon drops and cosmos served in artisan-crafted martini glasses. The gorgeous glasses doubled as gifts, as guests took them home at evening’s end. For the seventh year of this lively HCCC benefit, chairs Paula Arnold & Ted Pinson opted for a Brazilian theme, featuring live bossa nova and samba music from Charlie Perez and his band. The digital photo booth from Photobomb — complete with fedoras, leis, pink flamingos and other props —proved popular with revelers, as did the big board auction items, which included artwork by former HCCC resident artists, artistic jewelry and a week’s stay at Santa Fe Casita Ranch in the Hill Country.
