Who: Special guest designer Nanette Lepore with daughter Violet Savage; chairs Leisa Holland-Nelson and Laura Max Rose; R4S founder Gracie Cavnar; Tootsies’ Mickey Rosmarin, Fady Armanious, Chris Goins, and Shelley Taylor Ludwick; mother-daughter honorees Brittany Hansen Cassin and Susan Arnoldy Hansen, Alex Blair and Alice Phipps, Ruth McNair Smith, Alyssa and Kari Parsons, Taylor Byrne Dodge and Teresa Byrne-Dodge, Mary Tere and Tessa Peusquia, Ashley Pakzaban, Debbie Pakzaban and Lexy Pakzaban, Kathy Mann and Carolyn Mann, and Kathy Boss and Kelly Boss Shields (honorees Holly Smith and Janice McNair were unable to attend).
PC Moment: A perfect prelude to Mother’s Day, mother-and-daughter honorees strutted their stuff down the runway (with a cute choreographed move at the end), showcasing some of Nanette Lepore’s designs for 200 supporters. An intimate dinner for 50 with the designer followed, catered by chef Barbara McKnight of Culinaire.
