Hosting a gridiron celebrity-packed Super Bowl Bash in a private home — no matter how rewarding — is no easy matter. Just ask Staci and Dr. Quang Henderson who hosted the Elevate Management Group‘s Bulls & Blackjack poker and casino party.
Never mind that Roger Clemens, Entourage‘s Adrian Grenier and Whitney Mercilus were booked. The Hendersons had to focus on making room in their River Oaks home for 300 poker-crazed partygoers.
To accommodate the black-tie crowd (this was no blue jeans and T-shirt party), three bars, a DJ, a grand ice sculpture, and a dozen or so gaming tables, the Hendersons removed all the furniture from the first floor of the their home. They tented the front yard. And they sent their young children off to spend the night with the nanny in quarters above the garage.
By the time the doors opened on the third floor VIP party, the entire house had been transformed into a chic nightclub. And with the likes of co-host Wade Smith, and guests including Owen Daniels, Jon Weeks, Connor Barwin, and a dozen other NFL stars, this glamorous Super Bowl party was set to rock.
In addition to NFL star-gazing, entertainment included gilded girls in golden bikinis for photo opps, an aerial artist gyrating on an overhead hoop in the tent, and endless streams of food from the new Bosscat Kitchen, Peska and Grazia Italian Kitchen.
The evening doubled as a benefit for the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, the WithMerci Foundation, and the Wade Smith Foundation.
Seen: Professional poker players Beth Shak and Maria Ho, Arian Foster wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap, Rita Smith, Tracy and Harry Faulkner, Maria and Neil Bush, Jenny and Chris Myers, Adrian Peterson, Ray Lewis, Julie Baker Finck and Ron Finck.
