Dallasites know when those purple and red balloons go up, it’s time to do some shopping, all in the name of a good cause. One of Dallas’ most beloved and recognizable philanthropic events, Partners Card, blends shopping and charity.
Presented by Bank of Texas, the 34th Partners Card returns this year from October 23 to November 1, co-chaired by SVP of Marketing for the Dallas Cowboys Meredith Counce, fashion influencer and media personality Courtney Kerr Noonan, and New York Times Bestselling Author and founder of The Defined Dish Alex Snodgrass. What a dynamic and stellar line-up of powerhouse women in our community. And they all know a thing or two about fashion, too.
Join our chairs as they use their Partners Cards to get 20% off at over 500 retailers from October 23 to November 1.
At partnering shopping centers, you’ll notice red and purple balloons, window clings, and posters outside of participating retailers. The purchase of one $100 Partners Card provides a night of shelter for a survivor of domestic violence at The Family Place.
Bank of Texas has served as presenting sponsor of Partners Card for 18 years, and in 2026, they surpassed $1 million in lifetime giving to the North Texas organization, which equates to over 10,000 nights of shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
At the heart of Partners Card is The Family Place. The Family Place provides over 40,000 nights of emergency shelter each year to survivors of domestic violence. As one of Texas’ largest domestic violence agencies, The Family Place provides critical services to survivors of domestic violence including a 24-hour hotline, three emergency shelters, an on-site kennel for pets, a transitional housing program, two counseling centers, court-ordered supervised visitation, and court-ordered education for abusers.
The iconic fundraising event was initially created by a small group of volunteers, including founding chairs Sally Hoglund and Sally Johnson. The inaugural event raised $90,000 in 1993 with 150 participating retailers. And now, the event has grown to raise more than $1.5 million annually with over 500 participating retailers. To date, Partners Card has raised more than $24 million for The Family Place
Buy your Partners Card today. The opportunity to sign up as a retailer is also available until October 23rd through partnerscard.org. Individuals can sign up to help sell Partners Cards to friends, family, and colleagues to help The Family Place reach more supporters.
