Queen Elizabeth’s 90th Birthday Celebrated With Grand Style In Houston
Elite Homes, Soccer and High-Class Beer
By Jailyn Marcel //
If you couldn’t make it across the pond for Queen Elizabeth‘s 90th birthday, you’re in luck. The Somerset Green home community fêtes her majesty’s 90th with a fun-filled day of British fare (think fish and chips and shepherd’s pie), beer tastings, some England vs. Russia soccer, and door prizes that are sure to make you feel like royalty. Guests can also tour an array of homes in the sprawling community. The best part? The entire event is free.
Somerset’s celebration is the same day as London’s Trooping the Colour birthday parade, which will commemorate the Queen’s iconic birthday (April 21).
