What: Recipe for Success Foundation’s Dress for Dinner VegOut! kickoff
Where: Neiman Marcus in the Galleria
PC Moment: Haute Hippie designer Cady Vaccaro not only presented her latest luxe bohemian line but also touted the VegOut! Challenge in which guests were encouraged to eat 30 different vegetables in 30 days. For the fete, Harold’s chef Antoine Ware prepared vegetarian hors d’oeuvres while chef Henry Hopkes of The Union Kitchen prepared a three-course vegetarian dinner for VIP guests. The evening, celebrating the foundation’s mission of combatting childhood obesity, was chaired by mother-daughter duo Tammie Johnson and Brittney Randolph. Artist Bennie Flores Ansell did her part by contributing a “Manolo Blahnik Picnic” work for the live auction and also creating a window display of radish-inspired stilettos for Neiman Marcus in tribute to the VegOut! campaign.
