What: Round Top Antiques Show + PaperCity Special Section Party

Where: Henkel Square in Round Top

PC Moment: Under a clear, beautiful fall Texas sky, Henkel Square was the site of an all-time autumn blowout, an evening toasting Round Top’s storied Fall Antiques Show and the release of PaperCity‘s bi-annual Round Top issue.

Henkel Square developer and Round Top impresario Mark Massey hosted the charming country-themed fete, which began when the sun was out and concluded under a starry sky. Joining Massey were family members, including parents Susan and Fred and brother Owen Massey. The foursome all joined in hosting duties.

Clever and winning party details included long trestle tables, bedecked with gingham tablecloths and pumpkins, which made a perfect setting for a picnic supper catered by Bistro 108 from La Grange. The libations – beer, wine, and cocktails – were crafted by LG Spirits from La Grange. Serving as an ace bartender was Susan Massey, proffering drinks on ice from the back of the Massey farm tractor.

Dessert and coffee were equally well-considered, coming respectively from Round Top faves Royers Pie Haven and Two Sparrows Roasting Company.
