The City's Treasures are Feted at Private VIP Reception

PC Moment: The party for 600 spread from the hotel ballroom to the 24th floor Monarch room with event coordinator Kat Creech ensuring that every detail was “royal” right down to the presence of Queen Elizabeth, aka Tirey Counts. VIP guests and Houston Treasures were fêted at a private reception in the Monarch room then moved to the ballroom where everything gave a nod to the theme – “A Royal Social.”
The Houston Treasures, introduced at a party in December, were among those visiting the 11 food and dessert stations and the various bars the dispensed everything from Tranatula 100 Tequilla to Highland Queen Scotch to Silver Eagle Distributors‘ Bud Light and Stella Artois.
Welcoming guests were hosts Westin Galleria manager Mark Weatherhill, director of catering Nicki Helsel and assistant director of catering Kim McFate. Also on the welcome committee were Social Book principals Scott Evans, Jeff Henry and Sami Shbeeb and Houston Treasures founder Warner Roberts.
PC Seen: Lynn Wyatt, Gwen and Ed Emmett, Danielle Shbeeb, Drs. Beth and Stuart Yudofsky, Helen and Jim Shaffer, Gigi Huang, Carol and Tom Sawyer, Karen Henry, Bob Jones, Elsie and Les Eckert, Bill King, Gina Gaston Elie, Mary Ann and David McKeithan, Walter Aymen, Yvonne Cormier, Joanne and Bill Crassas, Franelle Rogers, Melanie Johnson, Gayla Gardner, Betty and John Hrncir, and Nino Shbeeb, whose Flowers by Nino had guests swooning over the massive arrangement of white phalaenopsis orchids.
