River Oaks Cycling Studio Takes On Cancer
By Jailyn Marcel //
Fitness meets philanthropy at the inaugural Ryde for a Reason fundraising initiative. Ryde, an indoor cycling studio in River Oaks Shopping Center, helps support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during Blood Cancer Awareness Month (September) with a charity ride.
Interested in participating? Submit your application for one of the 32 team spots here. Teams can have as many as four members and will compete to raise sponsorship money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which funds research, patient aid, public and professional education and community service. A one-month, unlimited Ryde membership will go to the team that raises the largest sum. If cycling isn’t your forté, opt for Ryde’s in-studio cocktail party and silent auction.
