A Tequila Feast Gives New Meaning to Drinking Your Dinner
A Houston Seafood Restaurant’s Bold Pairing
By Jailyn Marcel //
Mediterranean and seafood restaurant Black & White joins forces with premium tequila brand Casamigos for a tequila pairing dinner.
Indulge in a four-course meal featuring an array of dishes, including fresh blue point oysters pomegranate; chalupitas — two fried chalupas filled with tenderloin and duck breast, then slathered in homemade tomatillo and mole sauces; pork tenderloin and shrimp pibil; and an amaretto panna cotta and agave caramel.
A lesson in all things tequila will accompany the feast, and guests will have the chance to taste Casamigos’ range of tequilas, which are made from 100% Blue Weber agaves found in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico (tequila flight included).
