Who: Kate McLean, executive chef at Tony’s, as chef honoree; Lung Force Hero Anne Schneider, a seven-year lung cancer survivor, with husband Mike; American Lung Association board chairs Lesa French and Annie Sumang; Amit Shah; Katy Dunbar; Marie von Sternberg; Anna and Scott McLean.
PC Moment: The American Lung Association in Texas’ Young Professionals (the O2 Society), their board members and volunteers hosted Savor Houston — billed as “Houston’s Premier Culinary Event.” The youthful masquerade ball raised awareness for lung health and preventing lung disease. Participating restaurants included Tony’s, Benjy’s, Brennan’s, Rainbow Lodge, Kuu, Coppa, Pinkerton’s Barbecue and Adair Kitchen.
