PC Moment: Friends sipped champagne and exchanged Warner stories as they waited in line to have the former model, actress and talk show host autograph her self-help tome that hit the No. 1 spot in six eBook categories including Women’s Spirituality, Self-Help Inner Child and Biographies of Journalists.
In the book, available on Amazon.com and Warnerroberts.com, Roberts shares her life’s journey that included such memorable moments as making First Lady Nancy Reagan cry, making Queen Elizabeth laugh and the Rev. Billy Graham pray. She recalls famed photographer Scavullo declaring her “a classic beauty” while Joan Rivers called her a great interviewer. Her star streak included self-defense instruction from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Chuck Norris and being sketched by Leroy Neiman while interviewing the artist.
The celebration of the book, published by Elite Online Publishing, was hosted by Sharon Abercia, Monica Hartland, Angie Roberts and Laura Ward. Applauding the success were Roberts’ husband, Bob Roberts, and her publisher Melanie Johnson.
