Jet-Setting Design Stars Flock to Houston for a Major New Store Opening

PC Moment: The grand opening of the new to-the-trade showroom and retail brick-and-mortar location of Wells Design – the firm headed by Lauren Hudson and Jerry Jeanmard (who also served as hosts) – was reason enough for the design jet-set to fly into Houston to see the new space. Jay Johnson and Tom Cashin, from Jed Johnson Home (New York City), Sam Schinderman from Ann-Morris Lighting (New York City), Michael Devine from Michael Devine Ltd. (New York), Laura Gregory from O. Henry House (North Carolina), Helen Cormack from Fleurons de’Helene (London), Nicole Fabre from Nicole Fabre Designs (London), and Anna Jeffreys from Anna Jeffreys Design and Decoration (Leicestershire) were among the big names in attendance, clinking cocktails and enjoying light bites. In addition to the new retail storefront, a newly launched Wells Design Collection features pieces inspired by firm founder Herbert Wells.
