Ever the most welcoming hosts, Charles and Joanne Teichman, co-owners of jewelry emporium Ylang 23, recently welcomed a few of their top designers — and close friends — to Dallas for a string of festive events.
Guests browsed baubles from 2018 CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year Award nominee Irene Neuwirth at the home of Jennifer Karol; sipped mojitos at La Duni while eyeing Marla Aaron‘s unique lock designs; chatted with Retrouvai’s Kirsty Stone at Patsy Fagadau’s home; and honored Cathy Waterman with a luncheon at Le Bilboquet.
The Teichmans, along with daughter Alysa, who serves as Ylang 23’s VP of business development, currently have big plans in the works: Their 33-year-old Dallas-based boutique is expanding with the opening of a Fort Worth location.
Slated to open next month, the store is located at tony shopping center The Shops at Clearfork, with equally posh neighbors including Neiman Marcus, Tiffany & Co., and Burberry.
Cocktailing with Irene Neuwirth: Gowri Sharma, Leigh Rinearson, Lisa Rocchio, Jessica Wadkins, and Lynn McBee. Shopping with Marla Aaron: Carole and Dan Walters, Erin King, Debra Priest, Erin Covert, and Margaret Ellen Crawford. Mingling with Kirsty Stone: Capera Ryan, Lael Brodsky, Jill Elliott, and Hannah Fagadau. Lunching with Cathy Waterman: Lynne Palmeiro, Candy Brown, Ann Mahowald, Joyce Goss, Melissa Rubel, and Gina Halliburton.
