What: Book signing for Miguel Flores-Vianna‘s Haute Bohemians

Where: James Showroom in Dallas Design Center

PC Moment: James Showroom recently welcomed VIP bibliophiles as the home-furnishings boutique hosted Argentine-born, London-based photographer Miguel Flores-Vianna, who jetted into town to sign copies of his first book.

Haute Bohemians, which begins with a foreword by Architectural Digest editor-in-chief Amy Astley — explores the lives of posh writers, editors, designers, and artists living on four different continents. Flores-Vianna specially captures their homes, ranging from country cottages and city apartments to ranches and chateaux.

Originally from Austin, James‘ Dallas location provided a chic setting for the occasion with a backdrop of luxe rugs, lighting, furniture, hand-blocked fabrics, and wallpaper from lines including Rebecca Atwood, Carolina Irving, Bunny Williams Home, and Kathryn Ireland.

Who: James Showroom founder Meredith Ellis, Lisa Fine, Kendall and Robert JenningsDenis McGaha, Joel Baldazo, Suzanne Droese, Rob Dailey, Lisa Henderson, and Jo Marie Lily.
