Dallas Restaurant Shake-Up
A New Uber-Healthy Restaurant Takes Over a Bakery’s Spot, Vows to Keep It Local
By India Pougher //
Uber-healthy Dallas restaurant Green House Market is growing. The NorthPark Center cafe, co-owned by husband-and-wife Michael and Robyn Siegel, will open a second location later this fall inside luxe office building Rosewood Court.
Located in the former Paradise Bakery digs, the eatery will offer locally sourced dishes — everything from tarragon chicken salad to chia seed pudding and a mile-long salad menu. Executive chef Ben Hutchison will man the kitchen, providing a modern twist on classic (and 40-percent vegan) farmhouse staples.
Green House Market will serve Stumptown Coffee Roasters java, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus desserts from executive pastry chef Carlos Torres (who previously created sweet treats for Stephan Pyles’ Stampede 66). Don’t forget to come back around happy hour for an extensive beer and wine list.
Like its NorthPark sister, the Rosewood Court location will also feature rotating artworks by local and international artists.
