Kylie Jenner Spends $70,000 on New Baby Clothes

Who Said Dressing a Future Reality TV Star is Cheap?

By //

Children are known for their appreciation of mud, popsicles, and making a mess. Upscale fashion pieces such as a $865 wool ruffle Gucci sweater, $175 white leather Fendi sandals, or $130 bow-adorned Chloé joggers? Not so much.

Yet these brands offer sizes as small as zero to three months, as well as brimming collections that run the gamut from baby bodysuits to mini blazer jackets. In fact, almost every major luxury brand in 2017 has a spin-off line of apparel and accessories scaled down for the 12-and-unders. Parents want their kids to look good.

So when it comes to celebrities and dressing their offspring, the kids are often decked out in the best clothing money can buy. Especially the babies (and future babies) of fashion enthusiasts and reality TV mega stars — the Kardasian-Jenner clan.

Although Kylie Jenner has yet to confirm she is expecting her first child with Houston rapper, Travis Scott, the 20-year-old cosmetics mogul has redirected her shopping habits to focus on baby items — sparing no expense, according to a recent report. Jenner has reportedly filled a closet with high-end clothes for her baby – spending upwards of $70,000.

Since Jenner has created an empire based on her fashion and beauty sense (and OK, largely her reality TV popularity), and her big sister Kim Kardashian dresses her two children in Lanvin, Givenchy, and other couture designers — maybe we shouldn’t expect anything else.

The next Jenneration might just be the best-dressed one yet.
