Tony Bradfield and Kevin Black are the partner proprietors behind Tenenbaum & Co., the tony Galleria-area estate jewelry boutique that stocks the best of the best – think Asprey, Dior, David Webb and Harry Winston. With just a few days until Christmas, Bradfield and Black give us their top picks for a supreme season of gift giving.
What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
Kevin: How things seem to transform into the most beautiful versions of themselves … lights, flowers, desserts, candy, champagne …. all make things so beautiful. Now if all of us could just transform ourselves into the most beautiful versions of ourselves during this time … that would be a holiday to remember.
Tony: That everyone makes a greater effort to get together, share and make time for one another.
What is the worst gift someone has given you?
Kevin: White tube socks with white Fruit of the Loom briefs …. my grandmother … every year for 20 years.
Tony: Every year between ages 10 – 12, my aunt & uncle gave me a fire extinguisher. Why? Tell me why?!
Who is the hardest person to shop for each year?
Kevin: Tony Bradfield … actually he is the hardest and the easiest all at once. He has everything he would ever need … but I know him so well that I could pick a hundred things I know he would love.
Tony: Kevin, I try to give him everything he wants, when he wants it…. LOL!
Their Picks:
1. Tenenbaum Colore Collection 2. Henry Moore Bronze 3. Flunt Scarf in Geysor by Theory 4. Range Rover 5. Season Tickets to Houston Ballet 6. Sabre Tooth Tiger Cufflinks 7. Rolex Milgauss 8. KAH Tequila Blanco 9. Beard Lovers Set 10. 8th Day of the Week 11. Ford Raptor
