Planet Blue, the California-based retailer with a luxury boho aesthetic, opens its first Texas boutique Thursday, July 2, in the former Trunk Club location at 3010 Henderson Avenue. The 3,200-square-foot space stocks ready-to-wear labels including Blue Life, For Love and Lemons, Stone Cold Fox and Nightcap, all reflecting the store’s Malibu roots … In the Galleria, Victoria’s Secret unveils a newly remodeled space in July … NorthPark Center welcomes several new stores in August: jewelry emporium Pandora on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy’s; the first Texas boutique of AG (the denim label known for meticulously cut silhouettes, artful distressing and high-quality fabrics) in the same wing; and Polo Ralph Lauren, on Level One between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom. Evoking the mysterious and magical Narnia, shoppers will enter the modern yet feminine space by stepping through a black wardrobe crafted by Dallas artist Gary Buckner. Vital Fitness Studio and One Love Dallas are teaming up for Glow With the Flow, a one-night-only 90-minute vinyasa yoga session on the lawn in front of The Eye, across from The Joule hotel. On Thursday, July 16, 8 pm, get an intense workout complete with glow sticks, beats by DJ Jeff Mitchell and complimentary cocktails post-exercise at The Joule.
