Let’s hear it for the boys. While there’s always something going on in New York, July is usually the time when high fashion-types head to the Hamptons or the Berkshires. This year, the Council of Fashion Designers of America has given them a stylish reason to stay in the city. CFDA launched the first-ever New York Fashion Week: Men’s on July 13. It’s a standalone event held at Skylight Clarkson Sq that celebrates American men’s fashion, showcasing the Spring/Summer 2016 collections. NYFW: Men’s is presented by Amazon’s fashion sites (Amazon Fashion, East Dane, MyHabit) and additional sponsors Cadillac, Shinola, DreamWorks Animation and Dockers. The shows end today.
We’re been watching dapper gents wearing Thom Browne, Public School, Todd Snyder, and Michael Bastian (we’re loving his Stubbs and Wootton capsule collection, available for pre-order now) strut their stuff via pieces like these and these.
