In case you missed the social-media maelstrom, last night was the fashion event of the year. The Met Gala, organized by Anna Wintour’s Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, is commonly known as the Oscars for fashion. Celebrities, models and couturiers turned out in their Asian-inspired regalia to walk the red carpet, preview the Met’s new exhibit “China: Through the Looking Glass,” dine and boogie down to a live show from Rihanna.
Fortunately for us, PaperCity magazine style contributor and Russian street-style mega star Nasiba Adilova runs with fashion’s fabulous it-crowd. She was there to witness first-hand all the glitz and extreme glamour. Take a peek at her behind-the-scenes photo diary. You’ll wish you were there, too.
