Dallas’ most luxurious shopping center is getting a bit of a revamp this fall. Besides the recently revealed Dreamscape, a new VR experience, seven brand new shops are set to open at NorthPark Center.
From mattresses in-a-box and high fashion sneakers to honey and clothes with a hint of androgyny, these are the seven exciting new boutiques hitting NorthPark soon.
Savannah Bee Company
Texas’ first location of Savannah Bee Company, a honey store, should open in the next several weeks. Founded by Ted Dennard out of a passion for honeybees, the shop sells honey, artisanal foods and beverages, body care products and home goods.
Their signature product is the Tupelo Honey, which is a raw honey with buttery undertones. It’s sold in various amounts, the smallest coming at three ounces. Savannah Bee also sells coffee beans, tea and honey shortbread cookies. And body products include hand creams and soaps.
Tuft & Needle
Another brand making its Texas debut is Tuft & Needle. The Phoenix-based mattress company, founded by two Silicon Valley engineers JT Marino and Daehee Park, is also scheduled to open by September. Tuft & Needle wants to shake up the mattress business by offering online purchases that are delivered right to your door in a small box — while still delivering top customer service. AKA a more upscale mattress in-a-box.
The store continues the customer-centric approach with a comfortable setting for people to experience and shop mattresses. Tuft & Needle also sells bedding, bed frames and a giant bean bag chair that looks incredibly comfortable.
Alexandre Birman
Alexandre Birman will open between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom on the first floor, marking its third store in the United States. The fairly new fashion brand launched in 2018 and is one of the premier brands under Arezzo & Co.
For the modern and sophisticated women, Alexandre Birman makes luxury shoes, including sandals, pumps, mules, boots, flats and sneakers. Since its launch, Alexandre Birman’s signature Clarita and Lolita styles have been seen around the world on fashion icons and celebs.
Dolce & Gabbana
Not much of an introduction is needed for this one, but a Dolce & Gabbana boutique is coming to NorthPark in September. This will be the iconic fashion and luxury goods brand’s first location in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. It’ll be located on Level One between Neiman Marcus and Dillards.
Selling clothing, leather goods, footwear, accessories, jewelry and watches, the iconic Italian brand will offer men’s, woman’s and children’s products.
Maje
A women’s clothing brand, founded by Judith Milgrom, called Maje is also set to open in September. This will be its first location in DFW. Maje will be located on Level One in Northpark between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
The brand began in Paris in 1998 and offers bold, modern and urban style. The very first store opened on the left bank of the Seine in the 6th district of Paris and Maje is now in 37 countries.
With products ranging from ready-to-wear to accessories, Maje strives to be a leading brand of accessible luxury. Clothing for the active woman that is still feminine and glamorous is the style. Maje also sells bags, shoes, sunglasses, jewelry and more.
Sandro
In the same area, opening in September, will be Sandro. Known for its clean lines and sophisticated aesthetic, this Parisian clothing brand features men’s and women’s collections. Founded by Elvelyne Chertrite in 1984, Sandro developed a new women’s aesthetic: modern and sophisticated with a hint of androgyny.
Evelyne’s son, Ilan, launched Sandro Homme in 2008, focusing on a modern twist on the classics. From T-shirts to dresses, the brand emphasizes modern looks with a slight combination of female and male styles.
Golden Goose
Lastly, Golden Goose will open on Level One between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom in October. Born in 2000, this shoe brand merges the creative minds of Francesca Rinaldo and Alessandro Gallo. The company is known for its artisan-spirited products.
The high fashion sneaker brand also sells ready-to-wear clothes, leather goods and accessories combining modern style with a vintage feel. Their Superstar sneakers are some of the most popular and start around $500 a pair. A luxury twist on casual footwear, these sneaks are popular buys for Highland Park moms.
