Fort Worth Branch Opens —

Celebrating with Steel City Pops popsicles, the trendy designer glasses brand Warby Parker opened its sixth store in Texas at WestBend, the outdoor mixed-use shopping center in Fort Worth.
In addition to this new location, Warby Parker already has two stores in Dallas and Austin as well as one in Plano.
Warby Parker has been rapidly expanding across Texas since 2014 and anticipates opening its first Houston store later this fall.
The brand also believes in a philanthropic spirit. In the wake of devastating flooding in Houston, Warby Parker has pledged to donate 5 percent of every online and in-store sale in Texas to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts throughout the month of October.
With its light oak shelves, brass detailing and colorful book displays, the inside of Warby Parker’s new WestBend store draws influence from its flagship store on Greene Street in New York City.
The store also has a uniquely Texan flair. It features a playful original mural by artist Jason Munn. The bookish mural will be a visual treat made just for WestBend.
The new outpost is fully stocked with a unique sunglasses style, the Downing 16 sunglasses in Whiskey Tortoise with Flash Mirrored Pacific Blue. This special sunglasses design is unavailable online and outside of Texas. Warby Parker’s frames are updated classics with sturdy frames made out of materials like acetate and titanium.
Warby Parker’s Fort Worth store will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 11 am to 7 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm.
