Dallas Artist Makes Some of the Most Abstract Wallpaper You’ll Ever See
A Colorful Take That’s Worth Checking Out
By Rebecca Sherman //
Abstract Expressionism meets wallpaper with Dallas artist Meredith Grabham’s painterly designs. While some of her creations evoke Cy Twombly‘s oversized black-and-white scribbles, others are colorful altered elements from her mixed-media works and paintings. Her upholstery fabric, tabletop linens, and pillows are digitally printed in the United States with water-based ink onto heavy cotton linen, cotton percale, organic cotton sateen, outdoor canvas, and silk charmeuse.
She summons wallpapers from shimmering metallics and glass beads, faux leather, and natural jute. Because everything is customizable, your choice of pattern and color is almost endless.
