CraftWay Kitchen

5809 Preston Road, Ste. 578, Plano

Newly opened at LakeSide Market in Plano, CraftWay Kitchen is an American tavern from a duo of restaurant execs. The restaurant’s name has been altered since we first revealed it was coming back in August. Anyway, the local neighborhood tavern has a vast menu of American foods.

Starters include charcuterie, chicken lollipops, blue cheese chips, candied bacon and more. For entrees, you can choose between a filet, ribeye, ahi tuna, grilled Verlasso salmon, five spice baby back ribs, or chicken milanese. They also have sandwiches, including a pastrami reuben, French dip, grilled cheese, as well as salads like a superfood salad and spinach salad with salmon. There are two soup choices: French onion with a puff pastry and roasted tomato.

And along with food, a true tavern must also have cocktails. Frozen drinks like a mule and Old Fashion are offered, as well as specialty creations like a pineapple martini and prickly pear julep.
