Chefs For Farmers Food & Wine Festival Celebrates Five Years in Houston at Autry Park

There’s just something about the fall that gets us in the mood for festivals. Pumpkins, wine, food — you name it, there’s a festival for it. And we love them all. Add a little farm-to-table ambiance, and we’re all in. Thus, Chefs For Farmers is a two-day food and wine festival combining all the best parts of the season that simply cannot be missed.

Now in its fifth year, the beloved celebration is returning to Houston on September 26 and September 27 at Autry Park with the hottest chefs, restaurants, farmers, wineries, and beverage partners. Chefs For Farmers celebrates the vibrant culinary scene of Texas, bringing together top voices and talents — whether they be a chef, farmer, or enthusiast. It’s the place to be if you want to experience the best in Texas cuisine, whether you consider yourself a foodie or just someone who can appreciate an amazing meal.

Each day will feature 25 different restaurants, offering guests a distinct culinary experience throughout the weekend. Guests will experience dishes from acclaimed Houston restaurants including Hugo’s, Musaafer, JŪN, Brasserie 19, Azumi, Long Weekend, Belly of the Beast, and more. 

At Chefs For Farmers, the connection between chef and farmer isn’t just a story. It’s the whole foundation of the event. Each participating restaurant is paired with a local farm and given a stipend to source ingredients directly from that farm. The result is food that actually reflects the region, not just a typical tasting. This is what makes the event so unique. Real relationships, regional ingredients, and chefs cooking with purpose all come together for a common cause. It’s basically heaven.

Beyond the incredible culinary lineup, guests can also enjoy premium wine and spirit pairings, craft cocktails, local vendors, live DJs, dance-offs, and interactive experiences. It’s a weekend packed with some of Houston’s biggest names and brightest stars.

While the festival celebrates Houston’s culinary community and the farmers who sustain it, it also unites people around a good cause, as a portion of the proceeds benefits the Houston Food Bank. While supporting the food bank is important year-round, as we head into the holiday season, it’s even more critical to support this organization as they do life-saving work throughout the city.
