Kicking off with a beautiful and delicious luncheon at Eataly Dallas’ Terra, an Italian rooftop oasis, 2021 Partners Card celebrated the beginning of The Family Place’s annual fundraiser last Friday. A Dallas-based family violence agency, Partners Card is a 10-day shopping fundraiser that takes place from October 29 through November 7. 100 percent of the proceeds from each $75 Partners Card purchase is donated to the organization, while cardholders earn rare shopping and food discounts at favorite local spots.
On Friday, October 29, the inaugural Partners Card Preview consisted of a seasonal lunch by Terra, as well as a custom fashion show from several of NorthPark Center’s Partners Card retailers. Commentated by NorthPark’s Fashion and Lifestyle Ambassador Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and renowned fashion producer Jan Strimple, the fashion presentation showed off styled looks by CAMILLA, Isabel Marant, Billy Reid, Maje, Sandro, and more.

Partners Card Preview Event co-chairs Heather McNamara and Kirsten Swanson, along with Partners Auxiliary President Leigh Danley, hosted around 150 guests who had the chance to sip Italian wines and mingle before the seated luncheon. All spoke about the legacy of Partners Card and its immense impact on The Family Place. Newly appointed CEO of The Family Place, Mimi Crume Sterling, also talked about the funds from Partners Card and the effect it has on the organization (and those who are impacted by domestic violence in Dallas) each year. Former CEO Paige Flink was also in attendance.
Partners Card co-chairs Jane Wallingford and Rachel Osburn, and Partners Card Honorary Chair Debbie Snell, were also in attendance, along with The Family Place’s Director of Development Melissa Sherrill.

An after party took place downstairs at Zimmermann, kicking off an afternoon of shopping at NorthPark Center with Partners Cards, macarons, and champagne.
Partners Card will go through November 7. For more information on how to purchase the $75 card and what retailers offer 20 percent discounts (and 10 percent at restaurants), during the 10-day event, go to the website.
