What: BubblyQ Kick-Off Party
Where: Nobu Dallas
PC Moment: More than 200 bright young things assembled at Nobu, the stylish Japanese restaurant at the Hotel Crescent Court, to kick off Young Texans Against Cancer‘s biggest fundraiser of the year, BubblyQ.
We’re saving the date for October 5, when Young Texans Against Cancer will toast Bubbly Q’s 10th anniversary at Fearing’s at The Ritz-Carlton, Hotel. Per usual, attendees will sample dishes from dozens of Dallas’ top chefs in a moveable feast, complete with cocktails — bubbly, of course — music, and a well-stocked silent auction. For the foodie-fab soiree, Nobu could not have been a more perfect locale to garner excitement.
The much anticipated fall event will be led by chef chair Dean Fearing along with Young Texans Against Cancer event chairs James Carroll and Vodi Cook. Since 2008, YTAC has donated nearly $1 million in support of the fight against cancer. Sips, bites, and benevolence? We’re in.
Bright Young Texans: BubblyQ chef chair Catharine Flagg; YTAC president Phuong Tran; DJ Jose G, and partygoers Paula Newlands, Rachel Scoggins, and Anna Homsey.
