Stylish Houston mothers and daughters walk the runway at Dress for Dinner: The Fashion Gene Awards at Tootsies. The Recipe for Success Foundation fund-raiser, chaired this year by Leisa Holland-Nelson and Laura Max Nelson, includes dinner prepared by Culinaire chef Barbara McKnight. Tootsies owners Mickey Rosmarin and Fady Armanious host the event, which features designer Nanette Lepore and her daughter, Violet Sauage. Mother/daughter honorees are: Brittany Hansen Cassin and Susan Arnoldy Hansen; Alex Blair and Alice Phipps; Ruth McNair Smith, Holly Smith and Janice McNair; Alyssa and Kari Parsons; Taylor Byrne Dodge and Teresa Byrne Dodge; Mary Tere and Tessa Perusquia; Ashley, Debbie and Lexy Pakzaban; Kathy Mann and Carolyn Mann; and Kathy Boss and Kelly Boss Shields.
