PC Moment: While environmental activist Erin Brockovich had the clutch of 300 mesmerized with her talk on environmental health dangers, it was perhaps the stirring video outlining Blue Cure’s new initiative to examine lifestyle factors that can improve prostate cancer outcomes and reduce the numbers of prostate cancer diagnoses that grabbed attention. And then there was honoree Ryan Chase of 104.1 KRBE’s “The Roula & Ryan Show,” who received resounding cheers for his brave battle against prostate cancer. He is now in remission.

Blue Cure founder Gabe Canales announced that he will kick off Men’s Health Month in June with a six-city tour, sponsored by Naturepedic Organic Mattresses, to launch a nationwide Light It Blue campaign.
