What: 2019 ReuNight benefiting The Family Place

Where: Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek Lawn

PC Moment: Supporters of The Family Place were treated to a magical evening on the new event lawn at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek to raise money for safe housing for victims of family violence. About 175 attendees celebrated 2019 ReuNight on a beautifully tented lawn filled with lush greenery and white floral arrangements. Filled with tables with white and gold accents, centerpieces stood out with green palm-style leaves, delicate roses and falling floral.

Jordan Kahn Orchestra had a small set-up to play music during cocktail hour, which was followed by a dinner. Each course included a Coquerel wine pairing. First, a butternut squash soup came with a chardonnay, then a filet with scallops was paired with a pinot noir. Lastly, for dessert, a mousse came with espresso ice cream and cabernet.

Silent and live auctions took place over the night, with the live auction raising more than $100,000 for the organization. This year’s chairs included Melinda Bell, Catherine Cox, and Natalie Lorio who spoke on behalf of The Family Place. The organization also recently partnered with the SPCA of Texas, so clients who are suffering from domestic violence now have a place to temporarily house their pets.
