What: Goop x Cointreau dinner party
Where: Elisa and Stephen Summers’ Dallas home
PC Moment: Following an afternoon shopping fête at Highland Park Village‘s new Goop pop-up — which showcased Prada’s latest collection and provided proceeds to the Genesis Women’s Shelter — Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow welcomed some of Dallas’ chicest Goopies for an intimate dinner party.
Chez Summers, guests not only celebrated Paltrow’s return to Dallas (she last breezed into town in 2014 when her first Goop pop-up debuted in HP Village) but also the 70th anniversary of Cointreau’s Original Margarita, which Dallas socialite Margarita Sames fashioned in the 1940s.
In addition to ready-to-wear, home wares, and beauty products (like Goop’s coveted bath salts), there is a super-chic Cointreau margarita bar inside Paltrow’s Dallas boutique.

For the al fresco spring soirée, New York chef Seamus Mullen crafted dishes of wild snapper crudo and grilled striped bass, while Jeni Britton Bauer served some of her famous desserts. Cointreau cocktails, including The Farmers Market Margarita and The Spicy Margarita, flowed throughout the evening.
For all things Goop, visit the Goop Dallas shop before it closes Sunday, June 3.
