What: Houston Methodist’s Society for Leading Medicine appreciation fete
Where: The stunning home of Sarah and Duncan Underwood
PC Moment: The cause for celebration of the generous society members was huge as the group of 470 contributed $3.98 million in 2016 to help fund research, education and patient care at Methodist. Amy and Gentry Lee, Society co-chairs along with the Underwoods, joined Methodist president and CEO Dr. Marc Boom in applauding the society for its successful fundraising. Highlight of the night was Dr. William Zoghbi‘s talk on the latest advances at the DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center.
