What: Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston’s For All Humanity Luncheon

PC Moment: Also known at the Refugee Luncheon, the event raised a record $220,000 for Interfaith Ministries’ programs that serve more than 2,500 refugees. IM notes that more than 90 percent of these refugees are self-sufficient members of the Houston community within six months of arrival. Close to 400 guests attended to celebrate Houston’s rich cultural and ethnic diversity and to honor Dr. Asha and Farid Varini.
