Local TV Weatherman Brings his Wife Onstage in a Sweet Anniversary Moment, Help Raise $760K for Worthy Cause

PC Moment: KHOU CBS chief meteorologist David Paul, who has emceed the gala for three times previously, asked his wife, Miranda Sevick, to join him on stage. After all, it was their 21st wedding anniversary. They were such a hit with the crowd that some declared it a new gig for the duo. While raising more than $760,000, the event honored Julie and Jay Rogers and ICB Bank. A salute was also given to retired executive director Ronda Robinson, who was with Covenant House for 33 years. The welcome mat was rolled out for new executive director Leslie Bourne. A number of guests went for costumes and masks in light of the “Let Them Eat Cake” French-inspired theme.
