New Montrose Restaurant Morphs Into the Social Divas’ See-and-Be-Seen Hotspot

PC Moment: From the day that doors opened at Emmaline in December, the social set has been pouring in. But not before the other night has the popular Montrose restaurant/watering hole seen such a level of energy. Supporters of the April 22 fundraiser turned out 75 strong, loaded with excited anticipation in advance of the always-spirited fundraiser in which celebrity waiter antics are the highlight.

Cocktails and light bites from Emmaline executive chef Dimitri Voutsinas fueled the energy while warm greetings from dashing proprietor Sam Governale added verve to the evening.

Celebrity Serve founder and honorary chair Joan Schnitzer Levy joined chair Kim Padgett in welcoming guests and announced that Grammy Award Winner and hometown fave Steve Tyrell will be the night’s honoree. Bonus — he will provide entertainment as well. The dinner night of fun, food and philanthropy will take place at Hotel ZaZa.
