PC Moment: The juxtaposition of the subject of human trafficking and a fashionable ladies luncheon never made more sense than at this 18th annual fundraiser, as the message was one of hope for an end to and recovery from child sex abuse, the heart of the CAC mission. Guest speaker Rachel Thomas, a survivor of human trafficking and former music video model, inspired a standing ovation for her story of triumph over tragedy. She heads Sowers Education Group, which battles human trafficking. Serving as chairs were Ericka Bagwell, Diane Caplan and Ursaline Hamilton with underwriting chairs Rhonda and Mike Graff. Neiman Marcus presented a show of fashions from Lafayette 148.
