PC Moment: The soaring foyer of the Hobby Center took on a Latin flavor when some 150 altruistic souls gathered to raise funds for Fabretto children’s foundation, the international nonprofit that supports education and nutrition programs for underprivileged youth in Nicaragua. Supporters were an international mix representing the various nationalities of Houston’s citizenry.
Dena and Chris Winkler chaired the evening the featured high-energy dancing thanks to the beats of Houston Salsa Band and fuel for the partying provided by Cordúa Catering. Continuing the Latin mood were auction items that included a collection of hand-selected sipping rums from the best distilleries of Latin America and a gentleman’s night out at Lucho, where activities include a private tequila tasting, custom shirt fitting and wardrobe consultation.
