PC Moment: Women of intelligence and influence filled the fashionable aisles of the chic emporium for announcement of those who will be leading the luncheon discussions at tables throughout the Hilton Americas-Houston during the annual Friends of Women’s Studies fundraiser, schedule for March 28.
Each year, a number of select women leaders are honored as conversationalists and direct the discussions at each of their individual luncheon tables, typically filled with women (and a few gents) eager to hear the wisdom and insights of their influencer table hosts.
Luncheon chairs Divya Brown and Leila Perrin stirred enthusiasm for the luncheon. The honorees present each spoke on her individual contributions to the empowerment of women. They included Cheryl Creuzot, Lynn Wyatt, Sima Ladjevardian, Phoebe Tudor, Leisa Holland-Nelson, Estela Cockrell, Josefina Rendon, Peggy Smith, Claire Cormier-Thielke and Jessica Rossman.
