Glowing in Memorial Park

Part of the fun of Urban Wild’s Bridge Bash was waving at the cars as they zoomed beneath the living bridge at Memorial Park while the cocktails flowed and the music rocked. That’s right.
The entire party took place on the bridge that runs parallel to the railroad track. And the payoff for those waving was the friendly honking that greeted the unusual source of salutation.
The young professionals group of Memorial Park Conservancy is a lively bunch that on this chilly November night gathered more than 220 strong while raising more than $30,000 for the conservancy’s work in day-to-day care and maintenance of Memorial Park.
In salute to the “Glowing in the Park” theme, numerous guests arrived with glow sticks in hand. No need to bring their own, however, as the neon sticks were given out at check-in. Furthering the theme, glowing orbs served as decor atop the cocktail tables. Lay of the land: Check-in was placed at the bottom of the bridge with bars, a dessert station, and coffee station scattered along the bridge with that entertainment culminating in Smilebooth Texas photo booth at the opposite end.
DJ John Tran impressed with his playlist while guests savored appetizers from Churrascos Catering, cheated on their diets with sugary treats from Georges et Lulu, and sipped on libations compliments of Deep Eddy Vodka, Montrose Cheese & Wine, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, Topo Chico USA and Tenfold Coffee.
Alexis Caruselle and Jeffrey Yates chaired the evening that was supported by a host committee that included Ashley Underwood, Kathleen Hotze, Megan and Luke Hotze, Brandi Lisenbe, Krissy and George Pepi, Andrew Lin, Caroline Dawson and Elizabeth Gregory.
PC Seen: Steven Caruselle, Robert Erni, Jacob and Brandi Lisenbe, Grace and Mark Salvie, Ashley McKenney, John Shaeffer, Maryam and Will Rahman, Maine Goodfellow and Kate Harfield.
