The Una Notte in Italia fashion and dinner evening, always a rollicking good time, has become so popular that weeks before invitations were mailed for next month’s gala, the event was sold out. Thus, the lovely luncheon at Zadok Jewelers “Upstairs” underwritten by the Zadok family, was a celebration of the success to benefit Children at Risk.

Designer Nina Magon made a guest appearance in the swank “Nina Magon” lounge that she created for the Zadok family’s spanking new emporium of fine jewelry. Always a glamorous presence, Magon merely added to the glitz of the clutch of ladies that gathered to toast the upcoming evening.

The always fashionable Hallie Vanderhider and Julie Longoria Chen helmed the champagne-infused invitation-only luncheon that featured jewelry by Pasquale Bruni shown by representative Margherita Ligato, a native of Como, Italy.

Making their own fashion statements at the luncheon were gala chairs Melissa Holman Juneau and Jennifer Pinkerton. An annual affair precedes the Una Notte in Italia fundraiser, which was founded 25 years ago by Festari for Men with Debbie and Rudy Festari leading the way.

As the ladies dined on an Italian themed midday feast from Monarch Hospitality Group, Children at Risk board chair Devika Kornbacher, a partner with Vinson & Elkins, spoke eloquently of the work that is being done by the organization to help in the prevention of sex trafficking of children.

Patriarch of the venerable jewelry family Dror Zadok in his signature dark suit and dashing bow tie was on hand to welcome the ladies while daughters-in-law Amy Zadok and Lisa Zadok joined the party. The handsome Jonathan Zadok is one of 25 gents who will walk the runway in Festari fashions for the November 12 gala at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.

PC Seen: Rachel Bagwell, Brigitte Kalai, Sippi Khurana, Iradia Brown, Dr. Rocio Harbison, Krisy Phillips, Allie Shell, Marla Hurley, Stacy Lindseth, Valerie Dieterich, Melissa Mithoff and Tatiana Green.
