Dallas Boutique to Sell 18 Signed Copies of One of Fashion’s Most Coveted Books
By Linden Wilson Jobe //
By the grace of the fashion gods, Nest has acquired 18 copies of the inimitable Grace Coddington‘s coffee-table tome Grace: Thirty Years of Fashion at Vogue ($150), each signed by the magazine maven herself and arriving at the boutique early next month. First printed in a limited run in 2002, the weighty 408-page book has been re-released as the Vogue creative director hopes to introduce her stories to a whole new generation of fans. Thirty Years chronicles her achievements and experiences at American Vogue and Vogue UK between 1972 and 2002, including projects with such illustrious photogs as Cecil Beaton, Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, Norman Parkinson and Mario Testino. But that’s not all — next fall, Coddington will release a second book that details her mag adventures from 2002 to the present day. Eeek!
