Lighting the Way
A Top Dallas Store Adds Houston Illumination to Its Lineup
By Rebecca Sherman //
Gallerie Noir owner Melissa Enriquez has added Kelly Wearstler’s full collection of lighting to a lineup of enticements that includes Lucite furniture from Alexandra Von Furstenberg, sleek tabletop and lighting from Billy Cotton and candles featuring the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Wearstler’s 100-piece collection, designed for Houston-based Visual Comfort, includes table and floor lamps, sconces, and chandeliers. Everything is available to order on Gallerie Noir’s website and at the store, where Enriquez says she will keep a large selection of the lighting on hand.
Standouts include the Melange table lamp in bronze and alabaster ($3,150), Cubist chandelier in a variety of finishes and sizes, ($1,050 to $3,300) and Precision double sconce in antique-burnished brass ($1,100). Gallerie Noir, 1525 Dragon St., 214.760.9536.
