Milk Bar to Roll Into Town in its Own Ice Cream Truck
By Megan Ziots //
Milk Bar, New York City pastry chef Christina Tosi’s uber popular dessert shop, is popping up in Dallas on June 29 through 30. It will be serving sweet treats, including its famous cereal milk ice cream, at Emporium Pies at 314 N. Bishop Avenue from 11 am to 4 pm on both its late June Dallas days.
During its first ever national Milk Bar Tour, the company will also be hitting Chicago, Minneapolis, and Miami this summer. Last month, Austin got a taste of the milky soft serve at the Hot Luck Festival.
During its Dallas stop, lots of Milk Bar’s classic treats will be served out of the dessert shop’s vintage ice cream truck, which is a cleaned up Chevy mail truck.
Of course, Milk Bar will have the favorite cereal milk soft serve that’s topped with cornflake crunch. There will also be Compost Cookies with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, oats, potato chips and coffee.
The Milk Bar pie, formerly known as Crack Pie, is a sweet and salty recipe with an oat cookie crust. Cake truffles and shop souvenirs will also be available.
Make sure to line up early, this acclaimed dessert bar pop-up is bound to get busy.
