Fashion Group International of Dallas honors emerging fashion leaders at the annual Rising Stars Award Gala Thursday, February 26, at Galleria Dallas. This highly anticipated fund-raiser, reformatted for 2015, celebrates trendsetters who have made an impact on the local community. Held on the iconic ice-skating rink, the evening — chaired by Shay Geyer, Meredith Hite, and Carinthia Kishaba — includes runway shows of Galleria retailers (orchestrated by maestro Jan Strimple) and, of course, the big reveal: the Rising Stars themselves. Winners in the categories of fashion, interior design, beauty, photography, jewelry and art will be announced, as voted by FGI members and board members.
